A New Jersey path train pulling into Hoboken hit a spring bumper at the end of the track, injuring several people. No one was severely hurt.

In National News…

First Lady Michelle Obama make her first public remarks about bin Laden's death during the commencement address at University of Northern Iowa. Mrs. Obama stated “They did not hesitate, risking everything for us, for our freedom and security. And they did it not just as Navy SEALs. They did it as husbands, as fathers, as sons,” in an effort to encourage the graduating class to engage in public service after leaving college.

46- Year old man, faces charges after allegedly beating another man to death outside Royal Fried Chicken in Elizabeth early this morning.


In National News…



U.S. Intelligence Officials confiscate and release new videos from Bin Laden’s Pakistan compound, showing Bin Laden watching himself on the news. Allegedly in efforts of proofing the Navy Seals killed the terrorist.


In International News…


Last night four bodies from a coal mine in Northern Mexico was recovered from an explosion that happened last week, making a total of eleven bodies rescued so far.


In Sports News…


Five time major golf champion, Seve Ballesteros dies at 54, after battling numerous cancerous brain tumors.


In Entertainment News…


Lindsay Loan officially begins her sentenced 480 hours of community service, helping the homeless.

New Jersey Mega Bus Double Decker driver, faced with criminal charges today after killing four passengers in a fatal accident back in September.




In National News…



President Barrack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden met with members of the navy seal responsible for the raid on Osama Bin laden. Obama awarded Presidential Unit Citations, the highest honor that can be given to a military unit, while Biden thanked the commandos.




In Sports…



Pittsburg Steelers running back, Rashard Mendenhall loses recently signed 4- year Champion endorsement deal because of twitter remarks he made critizing people for celebrating the death of Osama Bin Laden.

Host Intro:


As the political mayhem in Libya continues, New York Libyan natives protest in Time Square. The protestors are in support of Libyan citizens fighting against the regime of leader Muammar Gaddafi. Pernessa Williams reports.

(Ambient sound of street traffic)

Its mid afternoon on 43rd street and Broadway. Shoppers, Tourist, and residential bystanders began to take notice of violent visuals held on the posters of protestors.

(Ambient sound of street traffic and distant crowd chant)

Cops scatter the area conducting the flow of traffic on the street and sidewalk. Two cops positioned directly in the center of action enforce pedestrian bystanders not to block the sidewalk as a small crowd begins to form.

(Crowd chants FREE, FREE LIBYA)

Salsabil, a New York Libyan native, handout fliers and DVD’s in demonstrating her support against leader Ghadafi.

Salsabil: Were never going to give up, were not giving up until Ghadafi’s gone.

( Crowd Chants Ghadafi’s got to go)

She also says she is concerned about family members living there.

Salsabil: I have My sister over there, my grandmother, my whole family actually lives there.

(Ambient sound from the crowd)

Abrargadoush, a New York Libyan native, says in this fight against Ghadafi she’s grateful for the advancements of today’s technology.

(Distant sounds of protestors)

Abrargadoush: Social media is what brought down Ben Ali in Tunisia and what brought down Mubarak in Egypt.

Abrargadoush says passing out the informational pamphlets on what Libyan people want is her way of supporting the outcry of her homeland.

Abrargadoush: The just want to speak out for their freedom and their dignity.

(Ambient sounds of the crowd chanting a song)

The small crowd of protestors demanded President Obama to step in on the issue. They also encouraged American citizen’s to take part in the support of Libya’s fight for a democratic Regime.
